Overview:

As an Email and Inbound Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for the execution and performance of email marketing campaigns that drive prospect and client engagement throughout the prospect to client journey. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll manage all aspects of email marketing, and you’ll leverage your marketing automation experience to actively manage the flow of leads through the lead lifecycle. Your expertise will be key in maximizing efficiency, ensuring consistency of our brand, and driving innovation.


You must possess excellent email campaign development and execution, client service and communication, and project management skills. This position will report to the Digital Marketing Manager on the Marketing Team.

You Will:

Own the execution of the plan for all prospect- and client-facing email communications and programs. Working with the Digital Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing, you will be the point person managing the process for how we go to market across industries and services, and act as the point person on the Marketing Team for all things “marketing automation”. You will:

  • Oversee the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of email campaigns and lead nurturing initiatives in Hubspot.
  • Manage email lists, personas, and target audiences to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Design and manage automated email workflows and advanced segmentation strategies to personalize communication and drive engagement.
  • Create and optimize the email marketing calendar and strategy for new customer acquisition and onboarding programs.
  • Provide feedback to internal clients to help improve the overall effectiveness of the message and design.
  • Conduct A/B testing on email elements (subject lines, CTAs, content) to continually optimize campaign performance.
  • Ensure all email campaigns comply with legal regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and maintain email deliverability best practices (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
  • Examine all creative assets to ensure that content/message is approved by business owners and creative is optimized for delivery and performance.
  • Proactively research and evaluate new email and digital marketing best practices as needed.
  • Act as liaison to the CRM team to align Marketing and CRM initiatives and partner with the Sales and Marketing Team to understand the various customer journeys and translate that into an engagement plan.
  • Report on overall success of campaigns across all platforms including aligning email metrics to business KPIs and continually improve campaign success and conversion rates.
  • Address technical issues related to email delivery, marketing automation, and ensure content is approved and optimized for performance.
  • Monitor deliverability rates and analyzing bounce/spam reports for improvement.
  • Develop and modify CSS to ensure accurate rendering across email clients and devices, while following best practices to avoid spam traps.
  • Ensure email campaigns adhere to industry best practices.
  • Create web pages in support of new marketing programs.
You Have:
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (required).
  • 3+ years of experience managing and executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Experience working with marketing automation tools, specifically HubSpot.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email development.
  • An understanding of email compliance laws including CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR, etc.
  • A skill for detail and organization, yet flexible, and adept at solving problems creatively.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple integrated initiatives simultaneously.
  • The ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Superior language, grammar, and proofreading skills.
Compensation Details:

The base salary range targeted for this role is $60,000 - $70,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
