POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who will be a driving force in optimizing our Salesforce and HubSpot platforms, while leveraging other inputs from back office and finance, to streamline sales processes and deliver data-driven insights.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and maintain web-based PowerBI dashboards and reports to monitor sales KPIs and performance such as MQLs and SQLs, pipe coverage by stage, conversion rates, sales velocity, close date pushes, and various segmentations (e.g., by product, region, size, license vs. subscription, direct vs. indirect, net new vs. back-to-base customer) for pipe and bookings, etc.
- Consolidate real-time data from Salesforce, HubSpot, back office, and financial reporting into the dashboards that are easily accessible and customizable.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders using data visualization tools.
- Assist in revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, and performance tracking.
- Understand how users utilize and want to utilize Salesforce and HubSpot and link this with the business needs and expectations. Drive continuous improvement and look for opportunities to increase efficiency and implement best practices, either directly or via third party CRM implementation partners.
- Create user-friendly training guides and documentation. Conduct training sessions for new and existing users on Salesforce and HubSpot best practices and tailored workflows. Provide ongoing support to resolve user issues.
- Maintain data accuracy in Salesforce and HubSpot, develop data cleansing processes, and implement data quality controls.
- Longer-term, expand reporting to other functions including marketing, customer success, and engineering.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in an analytics role, preferably in a software sales setting.
- Strong knowledge of the sales tech stacks of Salesforce and HubSpot. Associated certifications a plus.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques including PowerBI, Tableau, MS Excel and PowerPoint, SQL, etc.
- Experience building dashboards with various KPIs, pulling in data from multiple sources.
- Ability to use advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment while managing various requests. Experience uncovering trends and distilling key insights into digestible formats.
- Familiarity with accounting and forecasting models, tools, and processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas simply and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working directly with a variety of roles from management to end users, distributed globally, with varying levels of system experience and capability.
NedGraphics and Optitex have offices across North America, Europe, and Asia. The role is remote with occasional in-person internal meetings.
