The Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe has opportunities for adults to gain experience working with school-aged children. Volunteers have the opportunity to assist staff members, help run special events, winter sports, athletics and contribute their unique abilities to special programming.

Due to the close contact our volunteers may have with our members, we ask all volunteers to complete the following before beginning their volunteer journey:
Background Checks & Fingerprinting:
Due to the nature of our work and the close proximity of our volunteers working with children, they are all background checked and fingerprinted through the Department of Justice (DOJ) to ensure there are no previous issues when working with youth. Fingerprints are completed once and track via the DOJ. In addition, a yearly online check is conducted.
Once your volunteer application has been received you will be sent the needed documentation and information to complete both background checks as well as required Boys & Girls Clubs of America mandatory trainings.
